"The Psychological Impact of Terrorism"

Terrorism is designed to cause panic and fear and can have long-term damaging effects. Victims of terrorism may be impacted psychologically and develop fear and distress responses.  Emergency response personnel may also be affected by what they experience from responding to traumatic terrorist incidents.  When they are able to differentiate common stress from distress it is important for their overall health and well-being.  We will explore some of the stressors, symptoms, and resources available on this edition of Live Response.

Live Response expert guests welcome viewer questions concerning Psychological Impact of Terrorism and invite viewers to call, e-mail, or fax their questions during the broadcast.
