increased in recent years. Join Dr. Janis Whitlock as she summarizes what
we know and don't know about self-injury. In addition to sharing what is
known about the prevalence, nature, and contagiosity of self-injurious behavior

study of self-injury in schools. The talk will end with recommendations
for detection, intervention, and prevention of self-injury in adolescents and
young adults.
